Tan Uyen urged in tracing and testing to separate F0 cases from community and factories

Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee made the statement at a working session with Tan Uyen town’s Party Standing Committee on the local Covid-19 prevention and control on the afternoon of July 13. The event was also attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments, agencies and sectors.

Enterprises’ anti-epidemic spirit praised  

During the working visit, Mr. Loi and members of the delegation, leaders of Tan Uyen town carried out a survey tour on production and business activities at Response Vietnam Co., Ltd in the Uyen Hung Industrial Compound. The wholly Danish-invested company is specialized in making wooden items for export with about 760 workers. In the context of Covid-19 prevention and control, the company has launched a program calling for workers to stay at its factory for working, ensuring safe production. More than 200 company workers have registered to stay at the factory for working.

In order to opportunely encourage workers, the company has supported each case VND1million per month. The company has also created conditions for laborers to work overtime for higher income, but still ensure regulations.

In addition, the company has also organized a badminton tournament for workers, improving their spirit life, but still ensured conditions for Covid-19 prevention and control. A representative of the company said that the company has faced difficulties in production-business, due to the impacts of Covid-19 pandemic. Maintaining one-third of workers at the factory is the great effort by the company. This is also the support and sharing of workers in order to join hands with the company to surmount the current difficult period.

After hearing measures to maintain, organize safe production, Covid-19 prevention and control epidemics at Response Vietnam Co., Ltd and directly visiting the company’s production, accomodation areas for workers, Mr. Loi praised the anti-Covid-19 spirit of the company.  He assessed that the company's model on safe production organization for Covid-19 prevention and control is very methodical. He also suggested that relevant sectors and localities need to promote propaganda and encourage enterprises in the province to study and follow the model of the company.

Urgently tracing and taking samples for testing

After surveying, grasping the actual situation and directly talking to Tan Uyen town’s Party Standing Committee at the field trip, Mr. Loi asked for the town to urgently focus on tracing and taking samples for Covid-19 testing in order to quickly get F0 cases out of the community, factories. To do this task well, the town must stick to the “four on-site” content; be flexible in the organization and operation of tracing and taking samples for rapid antigen testing, especially be logical  in coordinating forces.

The town needs to mobilize more resources to be able to quickly coordinate with doctors and lecturers of Hanoi Medical University who are supporting the town for training in taking samples for testing. This aims to ensure that during the "golden time" of the province, the town can trace and take samples for rapid antigen testing with results that will be available after 15-30 minutes to zone and stamp out the pandemic effectively.  

In his working visit to Tan Uyen town, Mr. Loi and members of the delegation also met and extended best regards to policy beneficiary households, workers and people with difficult circumstances in Thai Hoa ward. He also asked the town to pay attention to supporting and mobilizing social resources to take care of the lives of the local people during this difficult period. The town needs to provide enough essential necessities for people with difficult circumstances, absolutely let no one lack food, essential necessities for daily living.

After that, the delegation also visited and encouraged Hanoi Medical University’s doctors and lecturers who are supporting Tan Uyen town in Covid-19 prevention and control. He also expressed his gratitude to 350 lecturers, doctors and volunteer students who do not hesitate to join forces with Binh Duong to speed up tracing and sampling for Covid-19 testing, contributing to helping the province soon repel the pandemic.

On the afternoon of July 13, Tan Uyen town recorded 186 cases of Covid-19 in the community, according to the town’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control. Through epidemiological investigation and tracing, the town now has a total of 1,338 F1 cases in concentrated isolation areas and 3,327 F2 cases under home isolation. The town has prepared and is continuing surveying concentrated isolation areas to ensure its task of receiving over 3,000 cases for concentrated isolation.

Also on the afternoon of July 13, Mr. Loi and members of the delegation visited heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Dinh aged at 80 in Thanh Hoi commune on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2021). On behalf of provincial leaders and the delegation, Mr. Loi extended best regards to the mother and affirmed that generations today always memorize merits and sacrifices by heroes, martyrs, Vietnamese heroic mothers to the nation’s revolutionary cause… He wishes all mothers good health, continuing to living happily with their children and grandchildren…
