TDM city marks VBA’s 46th founding anniversary

The city’s Blind Association now has 150 members. Over the past time, the association organized many practical emulation movements and activities in association with “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” and the campaign of “Strengthening solidarity, taking initiative in rising up equally and integrating into the community” launched by the VBA.

The association also upgraded and built 24 “great unity” houses with a total expense of VND184mln; provided VND2.16bln in loan for 592 members via 48 plans; set up a massage facility, generating stable jobs for 20 laborers; mobilized organizations and individuals to give 26,567 gifts worth more than VND4.85bln for the blind on Tet and great holidays…

On this occasion, the association also presented 50 gifts, including rice and cash, to members.
