TDM city opens free swimming class for children

On July 6, Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city organized a free swimming class for more than 100 children at Tiamo Phu Thinh swimming pool in Chanh Nghia ward.

The class is held in 2 rounds. The first round begins from early June to mid-July. And the second round runs from mid-July to the end of August, 2023.

Participating in the class, children get free entrance tickets; are taught basic swimming skills to prevent drowning and instructed how to save themselves when being drowned…Especially, the class gives priority to disadvantaged children living and studying in TDM city.

This is an activity to improve drowning prevention skills among pupils, contributing to creating a healthy and useful playground in the summer for children, raising awareness and knowledge of child injury prevention, especially drowning accidents for children in the city.
