TDM city’s economy up 25.1% in 2013

In 2013, TDM city reached an economic growth of 2.1%, up 3.04% compared to the year’s plan. The local economic structure was developed towards trade-services, industry and agriculture with respective proportions at 60.81%, 39.06% and 0.13%.

The city’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services reached VND38.572trillion, up 29.7% or 103.8% of the year’s plan. The average income per capita was VND62.9mln a year, up VND1.9mln compared to the year’s plan.

There was also a strong development on trade infrastructure at the local demand for goods exchange and production. In addition, the city’s retail sales reached a civilized and modern development with the birth of supermarkets and plazas.

From now till 2015, TDM city will further promote trade and services at the local people’s demand for daily life and production; create favorable conditions for all economic sectors to get involved in hi-class services, especially give priority to promoting a modern retail sales system; improve the quality of trade operations; focus on building and upgrading plazas, supermarkets, rural markets as planned in association with the development process of industrial parks, urban and residential estates…
