TDM city’s Labor Union pays special importance to propagandizing workers ‘legal rights and interests on social networks

Huynh Thi Tuyet Loan, Chairwoman of the Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city’s Labor Union said that in 2023, the city’s Labor Union will issue documents related to regional minimum wages, guiding trade unions locals to organize staff conferences and sign collective labor agreements. As a result, there were 116 trade union locals organizing staff conferences, 210 trade union locals holding dialogues with 182 collective labor deals signed.

The city’s Labor Union coordinated with the city’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to conduct inspection tours over companies and businesses in implementing labor laws, social insurance, labor safety and hygiene. Through inspection, the unit reminded employers to fully and correctly implement regimes and policies under the provisions of law; strictly handled cases of intentional violations, contributing to protecting employees ‘legitimate rights and interests.

In addition, the city’s Labor Union made law dissemination through its fanpage and Zalo with 255 news and articles, attracting more than 255,000 approaches and more than 51,000 interactive shares. Propaganda contents helped employees raise their awareness of traffic order and safety, high-interest loan tricks, etc.
