TDM City to develop urban green spaces

Over the first 6 months of 2020, TDM City developed urban green areas and public spaces for community service.

Accordingly, functional departments in Thu Dau Mot City reviewed public land funds, cleared and relocated graveyards, made use of public land funds and redundant administrative offices according to the province and city's reorganization to invest in the construction of parks and urban green areas, thereby expanding public living spaces of residential areas. Thus, the city constructed 83 parks and flower gardens with an area of 73,855m2; the area of urban greenery reached 406.5ha, increasing the percentage of urban greenery from 8.02m2 / person (in 2016) to 13.6m2 / person (criteria for class-1 urban area is from 10 - 15m2 / person).
