TDM must strive to take lead in many fields, says Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial NA deputy delegation

On the afternoon of December 14, the 21^st Executive Board of Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city’s Party Committee held its 21^st open conference. Comrade Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation attended and delivered a speech at the conference.

According to the assessment, in 2022, TDM city’s Party Committee has had a high concentration in leading the local political system, made efforts, promoted the sense of responsibility and overcome difficulties after the Covid-19 pandemic, upheld socio-economic development, maintained political security - social order and safety in the locality and took care of people's lives. So far, TDM city has exceeded 17 out 35 targets, reaching 16 out of 35 targets of the resolution. For 8 consecutive years, the city is the leading unit in the district-level Public Administration Reform (PAR) Index.

Speaking at the conference, Mr.Loi recognized and praised the efforts and results of the city’s Party Committee in 2022. Besides, the city still has shortcomings, so the city’s Party Committee must seriously recognize and overcome them with the spirit of self-examination and self-correction. He also asked for TDM city to strive to take the lead. This must be the place where innovation comes from, ways of thinking, doing, specific models with practical products for the people, for the development of the city.

Mr. Loi also said that TDM city still has a lot of fiscal space for development while suggesting that the city’s Party Committee must be more drastic from thinking to acting; must strive to take the lead in many fields... to build TDM into a smart, modern, sentimental city, worthy of being the political, economic and cultural center of the province. TDM city must take the lead in implementing reform of administrative procedures, digital transformation, building digital government, digital economy, digital society and digital citizens towards a smart city, serving people and enterprises. In addition, TDM city must take care of people's lives, realizing "no one is left behind". Especially, TDM city’s Party Committee should further pay great attention to and promote Party building, building up a clean and strong political system.

On this occasion, TDM city’s Party Committee rewarded 16 collectives and 15 individuals with outstanding achievements in developing new Party members in 2022.
