TDM’s Red Cross Society mobilizes resources to help over 71,500 people

Early August 23, Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city’s Red Cross Society held a conference to review its activities in the first half of 2022; honor and reward collectives and individuals who have donated blood for 5 times, 10 times and 15 times. The event was attended by Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of provincial Red Cross Society.

In the first half of 2022, the city’s Red Cross Societies at all levels focused on well performing their activities, especially mobilizing resources to support and care for the poor. Performing social work, the city’s Red Cross Societies at all levels mobilized organizations and inviduals to help more than 71,500 disadvantaged people, with a total value of more than VND 6.57 trillion...

In order to honor and reward typical collectives and individuals in the movement of voluntary blood donation, contributing to attracting many people to participate in this meaningful movement in the coming time, on this occasion, the city’s People's Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 9 individuals with 15 times of voluntary blood donation and many individuals, collectives with 5 and 10 times of voluntary blood donation.
