TDM’s retail value up 27.19%

Over the past nine months, Thu Dau Mot city’s total retail sales revenue of goods and services was estimated at more than VND 185.56 trillion, up 27.19% over the same period last year. Of these, the domestic economic sector increased by 27.15% while the foreign-invested economic sector grew by 29.27% ​​over the same period last year.

In the second and third quarters of 2022, the situation of Covid-19 pandemic was basically under control, so the purchasing power in the market, especially in catering and tourism services tended to increase again. The increase of purchasing power was the driving force for small traders, enterprises in terms of trade- services, consumer goods production to seek business opportunities. Over the past 9 months, the city issued 2,174 new business registration certificates with total capital of nearly VND443.3 billion.
