TDM town’s young people volunteer for sake of the community

The “Vietnamese youth study and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings” campaign has constantly brought practical effects to TDM town’s youth. Particularly, they have made  a lot of significant activities for the sake of the community.

 Nguyen Hong Nhung, secretary of TDM town’s Youth Union said that TDM town’s Youth Union has focuses on the propaganda work to help the local youth share their efforts in realizing activities for the sake of the committee.

 

The local youth getting involved in environmental hygiene

 The local youth’s awareness and action have also seen changes via many propaganda activities about the campaign, including film shows on “Nguyen Ai Quoc o Hong Kong” (Nguyen Ai Quoc in Hong Kong, “Ho Chi Minh-Chan dung mot con nguoi” (Ho Chi Minh-Portrait of a human)…

 Apartedly, many activities have been concretized among the local youth, comprising of launching thrift practice in use of power, water.... This has aimed to help them know to respect the values and benefits, even the smallest ones towards the community.

 “Fighting against crime disturbing public order at night” is one of TDM town’s young works contributing to maintaining the local order and security. Or the “Fellow-traveler of the youth” program has also provided consultancy and vocational guidance activities for young workers, Youth Union members and pupils across the town.

 Many other significant programs, namely “Lighting up the dreams of the youth”, “When I’m 18 years old”…, have also helped the local youth share their dreams and aspirations.

 Moreover, the local youth have teamed up with mass organizations to get involved in many volunteer activities for the sake of the community, including making environmental hygiene, realizing voluntary blood donation, providing free medical check-ups and medicine for privileged families and poor pupils…
