Cooperation advancement has been established between Binh Duong and Eindhoven including senior visits of the localities. The development of infrastructure and telecommunication in Binh Duong Province shall speed up construction of smart city.

Binh Duong Province has the best starting point to construct a smart city. This is not unrealistic but based on foundation of Binh Duong Province as a locality of high economic growth nation wide with major investments into telecommunication infrastructure from foreign groups. Therefore, the construction of a smart city out of Binh Duong Province based on Internet of Things (IoT) is favorable and reasonable.

To service provincial socio-economic development, VNTT has constructed the most modern infrastructure including eDatacenter as one of the 4 major data centers in the nation. The Project of Binh Duong smart city construction shall be offered by the company with applications of VPN Bonding, NOC-SOC, eDatacenter services such as web hosting and mail hosting, etc. under TIA-942/Tiger 3 standards.

Smart traffic system must be equipped with technological applications of censoring, controlling, informing, and telecommunicating to control and manage the traffic system including the launching of IoT applications in traffic management. The smart traffic controlling model includes the controlling systems of traffic lights, surveillance cameras, traffic flow counters, electronic information bulletins, breaching treatment, managing and operating public passenger transportation, monitoring vehicle weight, automatic tolling, smart traffic controlling system.

In fact, smart traffic system can eventually create ‘green boulevards’, i.e. the automation application to traffic lights as the resolution to maintain thorough flow of traffic without jamming.
