Looking for beautiful bougainvillea pots, Tra Duy Kha, who lives in Phu My ward, Thu Dau Mot city, said that every year he and his family go to spring flower markets to "hunt" for unique ornaments to satisfy their passion. He expressed: “It's Tet without flowers in the house, it feels like something is missing. So, every Tet I go to the flower market to pick up a few plants to take home. Buying beautiful flower pots makes Tet seem warmer and the house also sparkles with more colors."

According to Kha, this year's market has a very diverse variety of ornamental flowers. It was the brilliant flowers in this area that conquered him. “This year, bougainvillea flowers are beautifully shaped, small businesses buy and sell at very reasonable prices, making it easy to choose. I "spotted" a pair of bougainvillea flowers about 2.5m high and spread about 1.2m wide to display in my garden," Kha said.

In addition to beautifying the house, buying Tet flowers also represents the homeowner's wishes for the new year. Forecasting a year of having to face many difficulties in life, many people have chosen beautiful pots of orchids to hope for favorable conditions and good fortune.

Pham Thi Bich Ha, owner of Gia Han orchid facility, said that in recent years, Phalaenopsis orchids have been bought more by people, businesses, state agencies etc. for Tet decorations, and the flowers last from 1-3 months, have brilliant colors. On the other hand, Phalaenopsis orchids also symbolize family love, fortune, prosperity... so they are popular. To have beautiful Phalaenopsis orchid pots, she imported from Da Lat or abroad to serve different customer segments. Therefore, the number of customers ordering has not decreased, the average unit price of orchid pots is from 5-15 million VND/pot, accounting for a large number.

Paint the colors of spring

Joining the cheerful atmosphere of the days leading up to Tet, Huynh Tuan, a small shop owner of bougainvillea at the spring flower market on Bach Dang Street, Thu Dau Mot City, said that after 3 days of selling Tet ornamental flowers, the number of customers gradually stabilized, purchasing power began to increase. This year, he brought 200 bougainvillea trees to Binh Duong, the selling price was about 30% lower than last year.

According to Tuan, the amount of bougainvilleas he sold during this time was thanks to regular customers. “Just carrying goods from Lach market, Ben Tre, a customer bought a pair of bougainvillea for nearly 40 million VND. I do business with my heart to share beauty and joy. Last year, just on the 28th day of the lunar calendar, I sold out. Hopefully this year I will be able to return home to celebrate New Year's Eve soon," Tuan shared.

Chin Tai shared that it is difficult to take care of plumeria, but it is even more difficult to make them bloom evenly, show off their bright colors on Tet holiday and last a long time (2 months).
