Tet gifts donated to poor, disabled people

Provincial Red Cross Society, on December 18, coordinated with sectors, mass organizations, localities and donors to visit and donate gifts to needy people in TDM city, Ben Cat town, districts of Dau Tieng, Bau Bang and Phu Giao under the “Tet for the Poor” program 2020 and the campaign of “Each organization, individual should stick to a humanitarian address”.

In each locality, provincial Red Cross Society offered 200 Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each to 200 needy people. The society also worked with provincial Buddhist Sangha to donate gifts worth VND1.8million each to 29 humanitarian addresses in Ben Cat town, 44 humanitarian addresses in Dau Tieng district, 30 humanitarian addresses in Bau Bang district and 29 humanitarian addresses in Phu Giao district.

On this occasion, provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Charity Board gave 325 gifts worth VND300,000 each for blind people in TDM city, Ben Cat town and Bau Bang district. Medic Binh Duong hospital also offered 1,470 free healthcare coupons worth VND635,000 each to disadvantaged people.
