Tet gifts offered to disadvantaged people

Phu Giao district’s People’s Committee has just offered 364 Tet gifts worth VND500,000-VND700,000 each to the local poor families, blind people and Agent Orange victims on the occassion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2020.

Prior to that, Taiwanese Tzu Chi charity group worked with Thuan An town’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to donate 819 gifts worth VND490million, comprising of rice, instant noodle and cash, to poor and near-poor households, blind people and Agent Orange victims.
