Tet gifts offered to poor, handicapped people

On the afternoon of December 19, provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with sectors, mass organizations, localities and donors to visit and donate gifts to needy, handicapped people in Di An and Thuan An towns under the “Tet for the Poor” program 2020.

In each locality, provincial Red Cross Society offered 200 Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each to 200 disadvantaged people. The society also worked with provincial Buddhist Sangha to donate 57 gifts to blind people in Di An and Thuan An towns. Medic Binh Duong hospital also offered 561 free healthcare coupons worth VND635,000 each to disadvantaged people.

Prior to that, the society gave 400 Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each for disadvantaged people in North Tan Uyen district and Tan Uyen town
