Tet gifts presented to disadvantaged people

TDM city’s Sponsoring Association for Disable People, Orphans and Poor Patients has just teamed up with sectors, mass organizations and donors to organize a delegation to visit and present 160 Tet gifts to the disabled, orphans and poor patients in wards of Tan An, Hiep An, Dinh Hoa and Hoa Phu. Each gift is worth VND300,000, including instant noodle, cooking oil, seasoning powder, sugar…and VND100,000 in cash.

This is one of activities annually done by the city to share difficulties with the local disable people, orphans and poor patients.

*North Tan Uyen district’s Labor Union in collaboration with the district’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has just visited and presented Tet gifts to workers who are not able to return home for Tet at district-based companies.

The delegation paid a visit to 3 companies, namely Honda, HanNguyenKy and Quoc Tet Duc. In each visiting place, the delegation extended best regards and presented 70 gifts worth VND500,000 each together with 30 bus tickets to needy workers.

Prior to that, the district’s Labor Union also gave 130 gifts for workers with extremely difficult circumstances at district-based companies.

*Early February 13, Dau Tieng district’s Treasury donated 15 gifts worth VND500,000 each, comprising of confectionary, rice…, to needy families.

The “gift package of compassion” program is annually held by the district’s Treasury to share difficulties with those with difficult circumstances.

*Tan Uyen town’s Red Cross Society, on February 12, organized a delegation to present 100 gifts worth VND30mln funded by the local Volunteers’ Club to poor people in communes of Tan Vinh Hiep and Bach Dang on the occasion of the 2015 Tet (Lunar New Year) Festival. Each gift is worth VND300,000, including instant noodle, rice, sugar and soya-sauce.

*On the occasion of the 2015 Tet festival, TDM city’s Labor Union has presented 130 Tet gifts to workers living away form home with difficult circumstances, helping them enjoy a joyful and warm Tet.
