The 11th Provincial Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union expected to take place early October

In the afternoon of September 8, the delegation of the Central Committee of the Youth Union had a working session with the Standing Board of the provincial Youth Union on the content of approving the 11th provincial Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of 2022-2027 tenure. Attending the event was Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member, Head of the provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee.

Up to now, the preparation of the Congress has been focused on by the Standing Committee of the provincial Youth Union to well implement the contents of draft congress documents, executive board personnel for the 2022-2027 tenure, propaganda, and action plans, in which, the content and solutions for the 2022-2027 term basically follow and concretize the Resolution of the provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, identifying breakthroughs in the Youth Union's activities and movements in the coming term. The meeting is expected to be held on October 3 and 4. After listening to the press, the Central Youth Union's delegation would have comments to contribute to the Congress's agenda.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao noted that the program format and arrangement should focus on carefully reviewing and evaluating the contents and targets to ensure that the results of the new term. In addition, the speeches at the congress should be realistic and adequate, and associated with the action plan of the provincial Party Committee. In particular, the personnel work must follow the correct process; candidates must be qualified, clear, properly structured and seriously absorb the opinions of the Central Youth Union on the organization for the Congress to be successful.
