The 2023 Horasis Asia Meeting confirms Binh Duong reputation in the international arena

In recent years, Binh Duong has successfully organized many international conferences and events creating good reputation. Binh Duong's postion and reputation is increasingly enhanced, contributing to promoting the province’s image among the international business community, as well as confirming Binh Duong’s good position in the international arena.

Attract partners and investors

With the goal of creating a breakthrough in socio-economic development and improving people's lives, since 2016 Binh Duong has implemented the Smart City construction project. In recent years, the province has continuously accelerated the construction process under this project.

2023 Horasis Asia Meeting will take place at the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center from December 3 to 5.

Binh Duong has actively expanded bilateral and multilateral cooperation with foreign localities and international organizations, making an important contribution to attracting investment and building urban infrastructure and industrial park infrastructure for economic development. Up to now, the province has established bilateral cooperative relationships with 13 foreign provinces and cities and is an official member and trusted partner of three international organizations, including: Intelligent Community Forum (ICF), Asian Economic Cooperation Forum (Horasis), and World Trade Centers Association (WTCA).

The province successfully hosted many international events, gave a good impression on politicians and partners, thus Binh Duong's reputation is growing. International partners are more interested in establishing strong relations with Binh Duong, while supporting the construction of Binh Duong smart city. In 2018 and 2019, Binh Duong successfully organized various Horasis conferences. The annual Horasis Asia Meeting is an Asian gathering of regional most senior leaders, from business and government. Horasis 2019 mentioned new developments in Binh Duong related to international trends in industry and urbanization, creating a lot of media attention for Binh Duong as well as attracting the interest of domestic and foreign corporations and businesses.

After two years of suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the organizers of Horasis India Meeting 2022 continued to choose Binh Duong as the venue for this event. The forum opened up opportunities for businesses and investors to learn about investment cooperation, contributing to expanding the province's trade network and continuing to contribute to the socio-economic development strategy of the province, accelerating the implementation of the Binh Duong Smart City project.

In addition, for three consecutive years from 2021 to 2023, Binh Duong province was honored by ICF as TOP 7, which is one of the 7 most intelligent communities of the world. Most recently, Binh Duong was honored by ICF as Top 1 Intelligent Community of the year 2023. Mai Hung Dung, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, said: "The achievement of Binh Duong in building a smart city confirm that the choice and approach of the Binh Duong Smart City project are consistent with the common global trend."

Connect, cooperate and develop

In order to develop activities of the Binh Duong Smart City project, following the success of the Horasis India Meeting 2018, 2019, and the Horasis India Meeting 2022, Provincial People's Committee hosts the 2023 Horasis Asia Meeting. The forum will be held from December 3 to 5 at Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center.

2023 Horasis Asia Meeting is an opportunity for organizations, businesses, and managers in Binh Duong to access and promptly grasp knowledge, vision, new trends of the times, advanced technology to serve the construction and socio-economic development of Binh Duong. In addition, it creates favorable opportunities for Binh Duong business community to exchange and connect with a network of senior leaders, especially founders of leading Asian companies. The goal is to improve the ability to find new opportunities and partners, jointly develop management capacity, science and technology level, promote trade, attract investment, and expand cooperation between Vietnam, Asia and the world, creating an important foundation, continuing to contribute to the socio-economic breakthrough program and Binh Duong Smart City.

The 2023 Horasis Asia Meeting will gather about 800 high-ranking guests from the Horasis community and leaders of ministries and localities. The meeting is organized in the form of a world economic forum, including 6 plenary sessions and 28 dialogue and discussion sessions taking place in parallel, with the following topics: building and developing Southeast Asia; supporting Asian businesses; Asian economic outlook; investment opportunities in Binh Duong; smart city development management; resuming Asian growth... In addition, Binh Duong will also introduce tourist attractions, local culture, and strengths of the province combined with visiting industrial parks and some typical projects in the innovation ecosystem built in Binh Duong.
