The 4th dose of COVID-19 vaccines administered to the people

To ensure the effective use of vaccines, Binh Duong provincial Department of Health has just dispatched a written request to health centers of districts, towns and cities to increase vaccination against COVID-19 with basic and repeated doses. Accordingly, 9 health centers in the province continue to advise and speed up the progress of 1^st and 2^nd dose vaccination and complete 3rd dose of COVID-19 vaccines for people in the area until the end of March 31. The vaccines used is the AstraZeneca of batch 133. Children of 12-17 years old use Pfizer vaccines for injection. For the basic doses, if the subject is receiving the mRNA vaccine, use the mRNA vaccine for the next injection.

In addition to the 3rd dose injection, localities also administered the 4th doses of COVID-19 vaccines (the 2nd booster) for immunocompromised people aged 18 years or older, people aged 50 years and older. The vaccine is used with the same type as the 3rd dose vaccines or the mRNA vaccines, at least 3 months apart from the 4th dose to the 3rd dose. For people who have contracted COVID-19 after the 3rd dose, they do not need the 4th injection.
