Late November 12, Tuong Binh Hiep commune’s hamlet 3 in TDM city held the National Great Unity Festive Day and marked the 83rd founding anniversary of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (November 18, 1930-November 18, 2013).

Under the campaign of “The entire people consolidate to build a cultural lifestyle in residential areas”, there were 100% local families and lodging facilities registering for the titles of “cultural family” and “lodging facility” in 2013. As a result, more than 87% of families won the title of “cultural family” and 7 out of 8 lodging facilities were recognized as “cultural ones”.

The hamlet also implemented many models “helping each other in economic development”. Particularly, the hamlet helped 245 people get more than VND1.8bln in loan; introduced jobs to 37 others…The number of the local poor households also reduced to 2 under the province’s new poverty line.

Speaking at the festive day, provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Huynh Van Nhi spoke highly of the solidarity and unanimity of people in Tuong Binh Hiep commune’s hamlet 3 in the movements of “helping each other in economic development”, keeping environmental hygiene…while asking for the hamlet’s Fatherland Front Committee to speed up propaganda activities to raise public awareness of the law, ensuring the local security and order, traffic safety and joining hands to build of a green, clean and beautiful locality.
