The Binh Duong Newspaper won Encouragement Award for the second time at the National Press Awards

The National Assembly of Vietnam just organized the awarding of Dien Hong Awards 2024 regarding the information dissemination of People’s Councils in local authorities.

The award ceremony was attended by Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue; Mr. Nguyen Sinh Hung, former Politburo member, former Chairman of the National Assembly; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, former Politburo member, former Chairwoman of the National Assembly; Mr. Tran Minh Man, Politburo member, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Head of the Steering Committee for National Assembly and People's Council Press Awards. With the members of the Politburo, the Central Party Executive Committee, the leaders and former leaders of the Party and the State, Ms. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Deputy Chairwoman of the provincial People's Council of Binh Duong, also attended the awarding ceremony.

According to the Organizing Committee, after 6 months of launching, the Organizing Committee of Dien Hong Prize has received 2,679 press works from 138 central and local press agencies, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Councils nationwide. The Organizing Committee has decided to award 79 prize-winning press works, including 7 A prizes, 14 B prizes, 20 C prizes, and 38 encouragement prizes. The article "Non-professional Activists: The Problem Has Been Solved" published on Binh Duong newspaper on November 21 and 22, 2023, by author Tran Dinh Hau, by the pen name of Tri Dung, is one of the 38 works that have been awarded commendation by the Organizing Committee.
