In a hope to create the interaction between readers and its products, Binh Duong Newspaper organized a contest to deliver writings to comment on ‘Toi yeu Binh Duong’. In just more than 1 month of the contest, many participants have joined to show off their writings.

Showing the emotions on watching the program of ‘Toi yeu Binh Duong’ on digital platforms of Binh Duong Newspaper, hundreds of readers far and wide participated in the contest of writing about their comments on the program. For many, the participation in the contest is simply because they are in love with Binh Duong and want to contribute to promoting the introduction of "the land and people of Binh Duong" to people everywhere.
Le Nguyen Thuy Lam - a student at Nguyen Van Cu Secondary School in Thu Dau Mot city, said that each episode of the program evokes many emotions in her of pride and respect of the land of many traditional craft villages and the famous lacquer village. Thuy Lam was delighted to write down her feelings about the lacquer village on watching the program to participate in the contest.
Sharing with us before writing an article, Nguyen Thi Bac Giang - a librarian at Phu Tho Elementary School in Thu Dau Mot city, said that the program has many unique images and carries many meaningful messages of educating younger generations about the typical historical and cultural traditions of Binh Duong. With that in mind, she spent a serious amount of time writing about the topic of the contest entry.
Gian Thi Thu Hien – a teacher at Tuong Binh Hiep Primary School in Thu Dau Mot city, said that she herself loves Binh Duong on coming to Binh Duong to live and work in the culture, sports and tourism industries. Up to now, Hien has diverted to work in the education - training sector and has had more opportunities to spread to her colleagues and students to love of local culture and history. Her love for Binh Duong has become the driving force for her to participate in the contest to create the writing. Hien said she was very happy that her husband, who is working at Binh Duong University, also wrote an article to participate in the contest with her.
Strong spreading
The contest was held to mobilize more and more good works about scenic spots, cultural and historical relics, economic development projects, socio-economic status of the land and people of Binh Duong from the past to present. Therefore, after a short time of launching, the contest has received many wishes from many readers from inside and outside of the province.
Talking to us, Huynh Thi Thuy Phuong – Deputy President of the provincial Association of Women, said the ‘Toi yeu Binh Duong’ program of Binh Duong Newspaper is a very good and meaningful program to have its own unique features about famous addresses of Binh Duong in each episode. Therefore, the officers and members of the Association of Women in the province are very excited to watch and participate in the writing contest about their comments on the program. According to statistics, branches under the provincial Association of Women have submitted 99 articles of appreciation and 2 clips to participate in the contest.
Besides readers in the province, the contest also received many works from authors from other provinces and cities. Some authors submitted 3-5 articles showing different emotions about the episodes and suggestions about the addresses and characters that make the history of the ‘good land’. Many after participating in writing their feelings, turned their emotions into impressive poems of praising on the Binh Duong Newspaper's publication of Spring 2023.
According to the Organizing Committee of the contest, the scale of organization and participants has enabled the contest to quickly receive many quality articles and video clips from organizations, unions, localities, schools, and individuals in the province. In particular, very young authors, veterans, pensioners and even authors from other provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh city, Can Tho, Binh Thuan, Quang Tri and many more have also participated in the contest. A number of reviewing articles have been edited and published in Binh Duong Newspaper to be shared on many social networking sites.
By the end of November 25, the contest organizers had received more than 700 entries, more than 600 of which are comments, and more than 80 of which are quality video clips from organizations, unions, localities, schools and individuals in the province. In particular, very young authors, veterans, pensioners and even authors from other provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh city, Can Tho, Binh Thuan, Quang Tri and many more have also participated in the contest.
