The conference sparks new ideas and effective solutions

According to delegates attending the conference, officials, party members and people's classes, the scientific conference "Continuing the tradition, Binh Duong province’s journey over a quarter of a century: Achievements and prospects" was carefully organized with the participation of many scientists and practical activities from universities, research institutes and many other agencies throughout the country. These have provided scientific and practical arguments, suggested the making of construction and development policies in the coming time.

Propose many solutions

Lieutenant Colonel Bui Tru, a member of Military Command of Ben Cat Town, said that defense-security, foreign affairs was one of the four topics of the conference. This topic received the attention of scientists with a variety of arguments, providing important information and materials, while clarifying many issues related to the province's defense-security activities over the past 25 years. Thereby, Binh Duong has thoroughly and creatively applied the Party's line and the State's policy on defense-security into local practice; ensure absolute political security of important objectives of the Party, State, national key works, guarantee social security and order to serve people's lives well, creating stable conditions for provincial socio-economic development.

However, according to Colonel Bui Tru, in the coming time, there will be many factors affecting the provincial defense-security. Therefore, in addition to the solutions and new problems posed by scientists, in order to continue building a strong all-people national defense, it is necessary for committees, authorities, departments, branches and unions to continue to thoroughly grasp Resolutions and directives of the Party, of the Central Military Commission; focus on developing the potential in all aspects, especially building the people's armed force with powerful synergy and combat strength, is really the core force in building the all-people national defense and serves the cause of national defense in the new situation...

Than Thi Nguyet, Party Secretary of quarter 5, Phu My ward (Thu Dau Mot City), said that the scientific conference: "Continuing the tradition, Binh Duong province’s journey over a quarter of a century: Achievements and prospects" was a particularly important event, politically and scientifically significant to look back on the tradition, objectively, comprehensively, scientifically assess the achievements, as well as the outstanding issues, limitations and deep lessons learned, bearing the core values that orient the development of Binh Duong province in the new era. "At the conference, many solutions for Binh Duong to further develop in the coming time were proposed. I hope that, with the success of the conference, the province would select and propose more solutions for Binh Duong to develop sustainably in the future," said Than Thi Nguyet.

Help Binh Duong to sustainably develop

Speaking to Binh Duong Newspaper, Nguyen Liem, Chairman of Binh Duong Furniture Association appreciated the organization of the conference "Continuing the tradition, Binh Duong province’s journey over a quarter of a century: Achievements and prospects". Liem said that this was a very meaningful event to recognize and assess the 25 years of Binh Duong construction and development, thereby to draw experience and set orientations for future development. "Like other businesses, we attended the conference to better feel the achievements of Binh Duong in the past 25 years. From an agricultural-based province, with many outstanding and open policies, Binh Duong has become a destination of many domestic and foreign investors. The innovative policies on economic development along with management capacity of the provincial government have helped Binh Duong become an aggressively developing province in the region and the country. This is experience that need to be learned to help Binh Duong develop further in the coming time," Liem said.  

According to Nguyen Liem, this conference was also an opportunity for the province to share its development orientations, and businesses need to unite, conscientiously and jointly build up Binh Duong more and more rapidly and sustainably.

According to Truong Thi Thu Hien, Party Secretary of Phu Cuong ward (Thu Dau Mot City), Party members and people in the province took great interest in the conference and placed high expectations on provincial development orientations in the coming time. One of the important topics of the conference was economic - urban development. Thu Dau Mot City is a political and administrative center of the province; over the years, the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee have been directing, leading and promulgating resolutions on the construction and development of Thu Dau Mot urban area, in which focuses on urban renovation to become the central city of the province, is a class-1 municipality under the province.

Phu Cuong ward, the central ward of Thu Dau Mot City, has benefited from many large projects invested by the province and the city. Many works and projects promise to be the highlight for the development of Thu Dau Mot City in general and Phu Cuong ward in particular, such as Thu Dau Mot market renovation project while preserving relics of Clock Market; cultural and historical memorial area of Nguyễn Sinh Sắc (father of President Ho Chi Minh); Phu Cuong Park project, Bach Dang Street extended...

"Therefore, through this conference, with the contribution from many scientists and experts, I am confident that in the coming time, the province would continue to have more suitable and new solutions to facilitate Binh Duong’s sustainable development, in which the center is Thu Dau Mot City", said Hien.
