It is known that the sports department of Thu Dau Mot city is still organizing tournaments under the State budget. In fact, in the past time, a few businesses accompanying the sports department in Thu Dau Mot city have been in badminton, traditional martial arts, billiards or gymnastics. Of the activities, most businesses mainly sponsor facilities when the tournament takes place. But they also helped amateur athletes compete on professional courts.

In the coming time, Thu Dau Mot city aims to strongly socialize in all subjects of sports, not just focusing on the stadium, the promotion, communication and improvement of the quality of the tournaments but also necessarily promoting the socialization of sports in Thu Dau Mot city.

In the form of socialization, Thu Dau Mot city recently and successfully organized the Open Taekwondo Tournament 2023. The tournament was held at Coopmart supermarket hosted by Duc Tri Taekwondo Club which attracted more than 300 athletes from 20 clubs to compete.
