The great position of women

Our national history encompasses shining and unforgettable marks of heroines such as the Trưng sisters... Over the years, Vietnamese women have always played a special role, made great contributions to the country building, protection and development. In any situation, women always shine with virtues of being hero, indomitable, loyal, and courageous, which were associated with Vietnamese women by Uncle Ho.

 Women are also honored, because they not only have beautiful appearance but also are beautiful in mind and soul. Therefore, cultural behavior, healthy lifestyle, and being confident in the face of difficulties is the foundation for forming the personality of modern women.

To promote traditional values, Vietnamese women generally and Binh Duong particularly constantly improve themselves to become "confident, self-respecting, loyal, and courageous". Women's Union of Binh Duong province has mobilized its members to actively implement the Party guidelines and State laws; engage in emulation movements and activities.

Thereby, many typical examples have appeared in various fields, many effective practices have taken good care of women, children, women workers, support women to start a business, helping women increase their income, escape poverty and be well-off legitimately.

Women’s Unions at all levels in the province have accompanied the political system and the whole people to repel the Covid-19 pandemic, carry out social security activities, effectively organize the "Godmother" program to help Covid-19 orphans overcome difficulties and loss...

At a recent dialogue conference with Vietnamese women, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised women for their efforts during more than 2 years of Covid-19 outbreak; namely women overcame many hardships, made sacrifices, and assumed their tasks in both family and society, actively contributed to the common tasks, joined hands with the Party, State and people to fight against the pandemic, develop socio-economic, and protect independence and sovereignty, territorial integrity, political stability, social order and safety.

Over the years, our Party and State have always paid attention to gender equality and the advancement of women through guidelines and policies on training and fostering women, providing health care, supporting women in job creation, starting a business... Since then, women have increasingly been able to assert their position and role, have more opportunities to contribute to family, community and society.
