In 2018-2023, trade unions at all levels in the province always concentrate on organizing many activities to take care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, especially workers with serious illnesses, suffered from work accidents, and in a particularly harsh family situations. As a result, more than 5 million trade union members and workers were given the care and supported with a total amount of more than VND 2,296 billion. The annual programs of "Union membership welfare", "Tet of reunion", "Tet of reunion market fairs", "Sentimental trips", "Worker's months" etc. are paid special attention to by trade unions at all levels to effective create diffusion and enhance the position and reputation of the Trade Union organization.

Specifically, the "Support Fund for Workers in Extreme Hardship" established in 2020 has supported hundreds of cases of trade union members and workers with difficult family circumstances, suffering from serious illness, and having work accidents. The Fund has supported and encouraged 866 cases of trade union members and workers with a total amount of over VND 8.1 billion parsely for the support amounts on each case of VND 4-10 million.
Nguyen Kim Loan, Chairwoman of the provincial Trade Union, said that trade unions at all levels in the province always pay attention and take care of union members and workers. Although the support gifts are not large enough, they are truly a spiritual anchor to energize and help union members and workers feel secure in their work and rise in life.
Caring and protecting
During 2018-2023, trade unions at all levels in the province have well performed the representation, caring for, and protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of trade union members and workers. The Trade Union has made various innovations in negotiation, dialogue, and implementation of democratic regulations at the grassroots and in enterprises, especially with focus on improving the quantity and quality of negotiations, signings, and effective implementation of collective labor agreements. As a result, in 2018-2023, 2,413 out of 3,337 grassroots unions signed collective labor agreements with many contents beneficial to union members and workers such as improving working conditions and meal quality.
The highlight of trade unions at all levels in the past term is that they have promoted consulting and legal support, contributing to ensuring legitimate legal benefits for union members and workers with enhancement of harmonious and stable labor relations between employees and employers. The provincial Trade Union has set up a hotline to promptly provide legal advice and support to nearly 20,000 union members and workers.
