Early August 25, the inspection team of Binh Duong Provincial People’s Council led by Mr. Ho Quang Diep, Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People’s Council, has re-monitored the implementation of major public investment projects in the province.
The inspection team re-monitor the progress of 1,500-bed hospital project
The team listened to reports of investors and constructors on the implementation progress as well as difficulties and barriers that the project has been facing. Accordingly, for the 1,500-bed hospital project host by Binh Duong Provincial Authority of Construction Investment Management, the construction was started on December 20, 2018 and over VND 1,622 billion has been invested. Up to date, the disbursement is at 68% of the investment capital. It is expected that the project would be completed and handed over on December 31, 2020.
The project of water releasing system of Chom Sao – Suoi Don was started in 2011 by local Project Management Authority of Agriculture and Rural Development. Up to date, all 15 construction bidding packages of the project have been started while 14 have been accepted and put into use. As for the remaining package of Chom Sao dyke route, the construction has been halted at 85% due to site clearance and compensation.

The Culture and Labor Center project host by Binh Duong Provincial Labor Union was invested by nearly VND 73 billion. Currently, stage-1 constructions of the project and auxiliary works on the land have been used. As for the swimming pool of VND-7.7-billion investment, the construction is ongoing. It is expected that by Q4-2020, the construction is usable.
The inspection team highly appreciated the progress of 1,500-bed hospital while noting down the site clearance and compensation of Chom Sao – Suoi Don water releasing project and the proposals and recommendations of investor of Culture and Labor Center.
