The imprints of Tan Uyen city in the new road ahead

On the morning of April 12, Tan Uyen city held a ceremony to announce Resolution No. 725/ NQ-UBTVQH15 dated February 13, 2023 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the establishment of Tan Uyen city in Binh Duong province. On the new road ahead, the Party Committee, authorities and people of Tan Uyen city are determined to make more imprints to realize the goal of bringing Tan Uyen City to a class 2 city before 2025.

New opportunities

Attending the ceremony to announce the decision to establish Tan Uyen city was Nguyen Minh Triet -former Politburo member, former State President, Tran Thanh Man - Politburo member, Standing Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly, Tran Luu Quang - Deputy Prime Minister, Nguyen Van Loi -Member of the CPV Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, all-time leaders of Song Be - Binh Duong province and Tan Uyen city, Vietnamese heroic mothers, armed forces heroes, revolutionary veteran cadres and people from all walks of life of Tan Uyen city.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, said that the establishment of Tan Uyen city directly under the province is a turning point and a very important milestone to open up new opportunities for the new development of Tan Uyen and the province - a good sign for the strong growth in the process of industrialization associated with urbanization and modernization of Binh Duong after more than 26 years of construction and development as well as a leverage to create new momentum to be able to maximize the potentials and strengths for the socio-economic development of Tan Uyen; at the same, great motivation to cheer up and encourage the strong rise of other localities in the province.

Vo Van Minh also suggested that the leaders of Tan Uyen city seriously understand, fully absorb and urgently concretize the guiding opinions of Tran Thanh Man - Politburo member, Standing Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly and successfully implement the set goals and tasks in socio-economic development to ensure national defense and security to be deserved as one of the pillar localities with more and more great contributions to building Binh Duong to develop sustainably in the direction of a smart, civilized and modern city.

Striving to reach class 2 city

In his reply, Bui Minh Tri - Secretary of the Tan Uyen Party Committee, excitedly said that with the indomitable patriotic tradition and together with the army and people of the whole country, the Party Committee, army and people of Tan Uyen city have experienced years of resilient struggle, heroical fighting, overcoming many difficulties, hardships and sacrifices to establish many glorious victories, contributing to the common victory of the nation in the historic spring of 1975. After the liberation and reunification of the country, and after 48 years of construction and development, Tan Uyen came from a purely agricultural district with very heavy consequences left by the wars, but with the spirit of solidarity and determination and with great dedication and efforts of the entire Party Committee, authority and people, Tan Uyen has achieved very important milestones, having made a premise for Tan Uyen to become a city directly under the province in joy and excitement, meeting the thoughts and aspirations of the Party Committee, the government and the people.
