The movement of “Tet for the poor and Agent Orange Victims” 2022 launched

Binh Duong provincial People's Committee has just issued a document on the implementation of the movement of "Tet for the poor and Agent Orange victims" in 2022.

To deploy the movement, the provincial People's Committee directs the provincial Red Cross, based on the guidance of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Red Cross and the actual situation of the province, to advise the Party Committee and authorities to direct the movement in 2022 at agencies, units and localities; to develop an implementation plan with contents, targets, specific locations, and a plan to practically and effectively mobilize resources.

Departments, agencies, branches, district and commune level People's Committees, people's unions, and related organizations shall coordinate with the provincial Red Cross to deploy movements to ensure synchronization, unification, and resolutions on overlap and duplication in resource mobilization and Tet gift giving; to encourage organizations, individuals, businesses and benefactors to participate in supporting resources and accompanying the Red Cross to carry out the movement.

Information and press agencies in the province have increased propaganda to encourage and contribute to make the movement of "Tet for the poor and Agent Orange victims" in the Spring of the Year of Tiger in 2022 effective as a festival for the whole people to take care of the poor in the province.

Representatives of the Party committees, authorities and mass organizations in the localities participated in visit and give Tet gifts to the Red Cross of the same level, showing the Party and State's concern and care for the poor and encourage organizations and individuals to participate in the movement.
