Feeling sorry for her, the neighbor lent a space in front of the house to use as a business space to earn money in and out. Because the premises are not big enough, selling bread is the most suitable choice for her right now. Her wish to have a bread cart was also met by the ward Fatherland Front. The ward Fatherland Front promptly gave her a bread cart worth 6 million VND, considered a fishing rod to help her overcome difficulties in life today. Ms. Hong shared: "This is a tool that helps me earn money during this time."

It is known that Ms. Hong and Ms. Kieu are 2 of 8 poor households that were recently awarded livelihoods by the Fatherland Front of wards and neighborhoods. According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Phu ward: "In addition to regularly giving gifts and building and repairing houses for poor and disadvantaged households, the ward always pays attention to providing suitable livelihoods for each case."

It can be said that especially in 2023, the Fatherland Front of Vinh Phu ward has in recent times had many practical activities in implementing social security work. Many activities can be mentioned such as building and repairing 7 great solidarity houses, coordinating to donate 2 Red Cross houses. In addition, the Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Phu ward also coordinated with Vinh Minh pagoda and ward organizations to carry out the 3rd "Spring day cake" program by wrapping 400 cakes to give to poor households and families of workers who do not return home to celebrate Tet. On the occasion of Vietnam's National Day September 2, the Ward Fatherland Front organized a visit and gave gifts to 15 cases of orphans and lonely elderly people, with an amount of 15 million VND. More meaningfully, at the beginning of the new school year of 2023-2024, the Fatherland Front of Vinh Phu ward organized the program "Going to school with you" to donate 20 bicycles and 2,000 notebooks to disadvantaged students, valued at 100 million VND. Recently, the Ward Fatherland Front gave 150 gifts to poor households, disadvantaged households, low-income workers. Especially, on the occasion of Tet and spring, the Fatherland Front Committee coordinates The Ward People's Committee mobilized social resources to take care of Tet gifts for hundreds of families, poor households, near-poor households, and households with difficult circumstances in the area.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao added that understanding the difficulties of some households in the ward, that is why the ward Fatherland Front is even more active in acting as a bridge to share and encourage to overcome in life. To improve the effectiveness of social security work, the Ward Fatherland Front has maintained the effectiveness of the activities of the "Compassionate Hearts" group and the "Love Kitchen" group. Many poor, near-poor, and difficult households were helped by the Ward Fatherland Front and have risen in life. That is a great encouragement and spiritual encouragement that helps the Ward Fatherland Front take advantage of social resources to continue helping the community.
