The press continues to accompany Binh Duong's development

On December 27, a press briefing and information conference on the socio-economic, defense and security situation in 2023 took place at Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice Chairwoman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Do Van Thong, Vice Chairman of Provincial Journalists Association; and representatives of press agencies inside and outside the province.

At the conference, Hanh appreciated the promptness, timeliness, and effectiveness in propagation and information of press agencies over the past time. Provincial authorities have actively supported press information, from providing information to speaking, managing, and providing timely and effective information more than last year; disseminate legal information on the press, improve professional ethics, and ensure the press's right to operate in the province. Concluding the conference, Nguyen Loc Ha said that despite many difficulties, Binh Duong's economy continues to grow and social security policies are guaranteed. In the province's overall achievements, there is a contribution of the press in information and propagation, creating high consensus in society... Ha asked press agencies continue to accompany and provide comprehensive and positive information about the socio-economic development, defense and security situation of Binh Duong province to readers in the coming time.

* Also at this conference, on behalf of provincial leaders, Truong Thi Bich Hanh launched the 2024 Nguyen Van Tiet Press Award of Binh Duong province and a design contest of identity for Binh Duong province.

The 2024 Nguyen Van Tiet Journalism Award focuses on three topic groups: socio-economic development, defense - security, foreign affairs; Party building, political system building; build a civilized, modern, livable and meaningful urban area in Binh Duong. Contest entries will be posted on mass media from January 1, 2023 to the end of February 2024.

The contest to create and design an identity for Binh Duong province was organized to select an official identity that is symbolic, characteristic of the geography, economy, culture - society and people of Binh Duong in development progress... Deadline for receiving entries is March 15, 2024, expected results announcement and awarding on April 30, 2024.
