During the first months of 2021, livestock disease prevention control in the province was well carried out. Accordingly, the vaccination, quarantine, control of slaughter, transportation of livestock, poultry, and animal products in to and out of the province has been strictly controlled, ensuring to prevent and minimize the possibility of disease spreading, livestock products guarantee food safety.

Up to this point, the province has 100 doses of vaccine on cattle, 1,200 doses on pigs against foot-and-mouth disease; 200 doses of vaccine against swine fever, 610 doses of vaccine against blue ear; 488,340 doses of vaccine against avian flu; 762 doses of vaccine against rabies. On the other hand, the authority inspected and disinfected 1,754 vehicles transporting animals and animal products in and out of the province with 13,247 pigs, 877,579 heads of poultry, 446 tons of animal products and 2,167 tons of processed products…
