On January 17, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, received and worked with Preben Elnef, Vice President in charge of LEGO factory in Vietnam.

Preben Elnef thanked the warm welcome and support of leaders from central to provincial levels to officially establish LEGO Group in Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular. He appreciated the dynamism, professionalism and long-term orientation of the province. LEGO Group wishes to continue receiving the support of the provincial government to accelerate the construction of factory, and to cooperate increasingly closely and long-term with the province. Currently, LEGO has started recruiting personnel to work for factory in Vietnam. Preben Elnef sent his best wishes for a happy and peaceful New Year 2022 to the provincial leaders and people of Binh Duong.

Provincial leaders also thanked LEGO Group for the appreciation of the province and choosing Binh Duong as a place to invest and develop. The LEGO Group was founded in Denmark in 1932. LEGO products are now sold in more than 130 countries worldwide. The factory invested in Binh Duong is the sixth factory in the world. The factory is expected to be executed in the second half of 2022 and start operating in 2024, contributing to creating 4,000 jobs for workers.
