The province strengthens disease prevention and control

Currently, the number of infection cases of dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth, measles, whooping cough etc. is increasing, this can flare up on a large scale. Meanwhile, the subvariants of Omicron have entered our country, are potentially spreading rapidly, causing the pandemic to start again.

Therefore, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, signed Document No. 842-CV/TU requesting Party committees and organizations to strengthen leadership and direct the implementation of four key tasks of disease prevention control. In particular, the Provincial Party Standing Committee requested Provincial People's Committee to direct Department of Health, Department of Information and Communications to coordinate with related branches and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to intensify the propagation to encourage people to carry out the prevention control of epidemics combined with the new rural construction movement, building urban civilizations, cultural families and other movements in localities. 

Localities need to drastically perform professional activities in the prevention and control of dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth, measles, whooping cough diseases. Medical treatment facilities need to carry out the collection, classification of treatment, prevention of cross-infection in hospitals, strengthen the diagnosis and treatment capacity, minimize deaths.

Units and localities need to synchronously and effectively implement the Covid-19 prevention and control program; speed up the progress of the fourth-shot vaccination against Covid-19; continue to check, update and adjust measures to prevent and combat covid-19. Heads of agencies and units hold accountable for a shortage of drugs, shortage of chemicals and medical supplies for the examination, treatment and prevention of epidemics.
