The rate of insured students reaches 98.60%

According to the Provincial Social Insurance, as of 10th August 2022 (school year 2021-2022), the whole province had 394,436/400,031 pupils and students joining health insurance (HI), reaching the rate 98.60% of the total number of students. In which, the number of students applying for health insurance directly at school was 381,371, accounting for 95.34%; the number of students belonging to other groups having health insurance premiums paid by the State was 13,065, accounting for 3.27%; the number of students not having health insurance was 5,595.

100% primary, secondary and high schools in the province join student health insurance. However, the coverage rate at colleges/vocational colleges, junior colleges/vocational junior colleges did not reach 100%, especially university bloc had only 76.95%.
