The sixth Binh Duong Provincial Games 2022 kicks off with traditional martial art competition

On 21 January, Organizing Committee of the sixth Binh Duong Provincial Games 2022 kicked off with the competition of traditional martial arts. This year's sports festival has the participation of 97 athletes from 9 delegations in the province.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee opened the first competition. Vo Hoang Nam (Phu Giao district) excellently won the first gold medal. Meanwhile in a women's event, fighter Khuong Ngoc My of Thu Dau Mot City won the first gold medal for her delegation. The games will continue until the end of January 23 and hold the closing ceremony. Traditional martial arts is the fifth events in this year's games and will be completed before the 2022 Lunar New Year. At the end of this sport competition, the festival will suspend competitions and after Tet will restart the next sport competition, chess, on February 18.
