Celebration of CPV, the spring and reforms has brought about spring enjoyment to Vietnamese people in general and people in Binh Duong province in particular. As it ages, CPV brought us the springs. In 93 years of leadership, we have been through all the challenges to the victorious destination.

Spring in the nation

At springtime, flags and flowers overwhelmed the streets to welcome a new year when the 93-year anniversary of Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) was unforgettable set on February 3, 1930 at the conference chaired by Nguyen Ai Quoc unifying 3 communist organizations of Indochina Communist Party, Annam Communist Party, and Indochina Communist Union venued at Kowloon of Hong Kong.

Over the past 93 years under the leadership of CPV, our people have had a prosperous and happy life. In the New Year greetings, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong stated that the year 2022 has just passed with memorable events as a year with many difficulties, great challenges, unexpected appearances, bad impacts not only on our country but also on the whole world. In that special context, our entire CPV, people and army have promoted passionate patriotism, determination, bravery, solidarity, dynamism, and creativity to strive to achieve many important achievements which are quite comprehensive with various outstanding imprints like focus on disease prevention and control while promoting socio-economic recovery and development, building an independent economy autonomy associated with proactive and active international integration comprehensively, extensively and effectively, social and political stability, guaranteed national defense – security, maintained peaceful and stable environment for the development of the country, strengthened and improved people's trust in the CPV, State and the socialist regime, leaving very good impressions recognized and appreciated by the people and international friends.

CPV lights the way

Under the glory of the CPV, and continuing the heroic revolutionary tradition of the nation, the Party Committee of Binh Duong province has constantly developed and grown in all aspects, making a worthy contribution to the glorious cause of the CPV and the people. After entering the process of construction and development since 1997, Binh Duong has especially inherited the achievements, guidelines and policies of the formed Song Be province to strive to overcome difficulties and challenges to realize the aspiration to bring Binh Duong to continue to develop faster, more comprehensively and sustainably to new heights.

Looking back at 2022 in the world and the region of many complicated and unpredictable developments, the whole political system, business community and people of all walks of life in the province have highly promoted the spirit of solidarity, initiative, closeness and creativity in directing, administering and making efforts under the synchronous and drastic implementation of tasks and suitable solutions to successfully implement the set goals, targets and tasks.

Notably, the economy continued to recover quickly after the pandemic, developed stably and had a positive growth rate and achieved quite comprehensive results in all fields. The main targets have all met and the set plan has been exceeded including a number of high-reaching targets. Economic growth rate was 8.29%; per capita income was VND 170 million; foreign investment capital attraction was more than USD 3 billion; and domestic investment capital was nearly VND 97,000 billion; a trade surplus of USD 10 billion was maintained.

Key projects, especially traffic infrastructure, are focused and directed drastically. External activities continued to be strengthened and organized in a diverse, rich and right way; thereby, promoting the signing of economic and cultural cooperation between Binh Duong and international partners. depth, achieving many practical effects.

The field of culture and society and the cause of education and health continued to be paid attention to. Social security is ensured as resources are mobilized to take care of policy beneficiaries, the poor, workers; people's quality of life is gradually improved and enhanced. National defense - security continued to be strengthened and maintained. Building of CPV and political system have achieved many positive results. The great national unity bloc continued to expand, strengthen and promote synergy.

According to Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, in order to achieve the set goals, the provincial Party Committee will focus on leading and directing the construction of a clean and strong Party Committee, improving the capacity leadership and fighting strength of the Party Committee, building an effective and efficient government and promoting the strength of great solidarity, synchronously and effectively implementing solutions to recover from the COVID-19 epidemic in parallel with improving the quality of growth and increasing the size of the economy, accelerating the restructuring of the industry, focusing on the rapid development of industries of high-quality service sector, developing hi-tech agriculture associated with processing industry and building new countryside.

The province will also invest in building a synchronous infrastructure system while enhancing the protection of natural resources and the environment, attracting economic sectors to invest in development, focusing on developing human resources to meet the increasing demands of the economy, promoting science and technology development, and better implementing social security work, creating jobs, and improving people's quality of life.

Celebrating the new spring with new determination and spirit, every cadre, CPV member and person of Binh Duong today always keep their faith with CPV to work together and unanimously cause the homeland to develop more quickly, comprehensively and sustainably to soon become a smart, civilized and modern city.
