Thorough coordination made for win-win development

Update: 16-06-2023 | 21:02:21

Strengthening coordination among localities to remove obstacles barring the socio-economic development is a particularly important factor in the context of regional development, which is also a requirement set out in the process of implementing Resolution No. 24-NQ/TW dated October 7, 2022 of the Politburo on socio-economic development and assurance of regional defense and security of the Southeast to 2030 with vision to 2045.

After the Politburo issued Resolution No. 24-NQ/TW on October 7, 2022, the coordination has been focused on by localities in the Southeast region. Many conferences and meetings between local leaders of provinces and cities in the region have been held over the past time. In March, leaders of 4 provinces and cities including Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau gathered in Binh Duong in a meeting to agreed to meet regularly to exchange, remove difficulties and speed up the implementation of regional connection. On June 15, leaders of Binh Duong province and Ho Chi Minh city also had a hot meeting to discuss solutions to solve difficulties and promote regional connectivity projects.

One of the most awaited regional connectivity projects is the Vanh Dai 3, which passes through the territory of 4 provinces and cities including Ho Chi Minh city, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Long An, which is expected to be started in the coming days. As the key project was kick-started, it shows the determination and efforts of the provinces and cities in coordination of solving problems and removing obstacles or bottlenecks slowing down the project. Localities with projects passing through have promoted the clearance and compensation procedures and are basically ready to hand over the sites for construction.

Along with Vanh Dai 3, projects such as Ho Chi Minh city - Chon Thanh expressway and Vanh 4 have also been agreed to be implemented by localities as the key regional connectivity projects, which are particularly important to promote development of the whole region in general as well as for localities in particular.

Traffic going ahead shall open up smooth roads as a driving force for the development of other socio-economic fields. And, the close coordination between localities will contribute to speeding up the implementation of projects and the process of connecting regions across fields to expand space, and develop together.
