Three “great unity” houses donated to the poor in Ben Cat

Early December 27, the Southern Power Corporation (SPC)’s Binh Duong branch in collaboration with provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) and Ben Cat town’s FFC and Chanh Phu Hoa ward held a ceremony to hand over 3 “great unity” houses to 3 poor households of Nguyen Thi Le Xuan, Nguyen Trung and Phan Thi Gai in quarter 3 of the ward.

Each house of 40-60 square meters has a total construction cost of VND80million, including VND50million from the SPC, Binh Duong Electricity and VND30million from provincial Fund for the Poor.

It is known that in 2018, the SPC coordinated with electricity companies to build 260 “great unity” houses worth VND50million each. In Binh Duong province, the SPC and Binh Duong Electricity Company in collaboration with provincial FFC to donate 10 “great unity” houses to 5 needy households in Ben Cat town, 2 in Dau Tieng district and 3 in Phu Giao district. The total cost of the program was funded by all staff of the SPC and electricity companies under the SPC.
