Three houses of compassion donated to the poor for three years

Kim Chau jewelry store in Thuan An town’s Lai Thien ward in collaboration with provincial Red Cross Society has just handed over a house of compassion to Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa, a resident with difficult circumstance in Lai Thieu ward’s Dong Tu quarter.

The 32sqm-house has a total value of VND60mln, including VND30mln from Kim Chau jewelry store and the remainder from her family.

Over the past three years, Kim Chau jewelry built 3 houses of compassion for the local poor households. Huynh Van Rang, Director of Kim Chau Private Enterprise said: “In response of an appeal by Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in mobilizing the combined strength of people in patriotic emulation movements, including social charity activities, I and my family actively got involved in this activity full of humanity over the past time”.

It is known that Rang was former member of the Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan An district (now being Thuan An town). Hence, along with mobilizing people to take part in movements launched by Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, he and his family have always taken lead in many local movements, especially social charity activities such as making contributions to provincial Gratitude Fund, Fund for the Poor, supporting natural disaster-hit people…
