Three outstanding trade union locals awarded the emulation banners

Thuan An town’s Labor Union has just held a conference to review its activities in 2017 and implement orientations, tasks for 2018.

Currently, the town’s Labor Union has nearly 439 trade union locals with a total of 61,900 members. In 2017, the town’s Labor Union made efforts in protecting laborers’ legitimate right and interests; dealt with 14 complaints; directly consulted nearly 440 cases pertaining to policies for laborers; solved 20 labor disputes at 18 enterprises; instructed trade union locals to actively take care of laborers’ spiritual and material lives with such significant activities as paying attention to the quality of meals; organizing a “Making dreams come true” program, presenting more than 300 gifts to poor laborers’ offspring with good academic results; offering 1,500 gifts to laborers who could not return home for Tet; supporting nearly 250 bus tickets for needy laborers to return home for Tet…

On this occasion, there were 3 trade union locals awarded the emulation banners of provincial Labor Union; 27 collective and 49 individuals with the certificates of merit of provincial Labor Union. The town’s Labor Union also presented the certificates of merit to 73 collectives and 278 individuals.
