Early March 11, Dau Tieng district’s Military Command in collaboration with the district’s Public Relations Committee forwarded a conference to partially sum up the three-year cooperation on public relations.

Over the past three years, the two sides well realized many cooperative programs on public relations, contributing to raising awareness of Party members, officials and members of socio-political organizations; encouraging people from all strata to actively respond to emulation movements in socio-economic development, national defence and security.

Particularly, the two sides jointly got involved in helping locals make rural roads and dredge intra-field canals and ditches. More than 1,430 locals were mobilized to build 500 meters of rural road and dredge 7km of intra-field canals and ditches; tidy up 24 roads and install 10 wastebaskets in public places with a total value of VND14mln.

The two sides also visited and presented gifts to 256 policy beneficiary families and poor households with a total expense of more than VND90mln…

Such these apart, the district’s Public Relations Committee teamed up with the Military Committees of the district’s communes and township to carry out many cooperative programs such as making rural roads; visiting and presenting gifts to policy beneficiary families and poor households; mobilizing organizations and individuals to build and upgrade great unity and benevolence houses with a total expense of more than VND1bln.
