Thu Dau Mot city awards Tet gifts to people and orphans

On February 2 at Thu Dau Mot Park, the Red Cross of Thu Dau Mot city organized a session called "Zero VND Market - Tet of Humanity" for the Lunar New Year of 2024. The event was attended by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of the provincial Red Cross.

From the fundraising source, the charity fair has distributed support gifts to 250 disadvantaged individuals, with each gift valued at around 700,000 VND, including various goods and essential items. During the market session, the Red Cross of the city called on organizations, individuals, and citizens to uphold the tradition of "mutual support and compassion" and join hands in "Community Solidarity - Spreading Love and Compassion." They continue to promote acts of kindness and contribute to building a united community, rich in compassion, and help the poor and disadvantaged have better conditions and gradually improve their lives.

At the market session, the People's Council of Thu Dau Mot City provided assistance to 21 children who are orphaned or have difficult circumstances due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Each gift is valued at 1.3 million VND, including 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 300 thousand VND.
