Thu Dau Mot City donates two Red Cross houses to needy people

On October 5, Red Cross Society of Phu My Ward (Thu Dau Mot City) organize a ceremony to hand over a house to Nguyen Thi Gai's family, living in Quarter 3. The house has a total construction cost of VND130 million, sponsored by Chanh Nghia Group Construction Joint Stock Company.

On the same day, Red Cross of Phu Tan ward also handed over house repair project to Nguyen Thi Cuc's family, living in Quarter 1. Due to difficult circumstances, Cuc did not afford to repair her house after it was seriously degraded and damaged. To help her quickly stabilize and continue to improve her life, the ward Red Cross supported her house repair’s cost of 45 million VND.

In addition to financial support to build and repair the houses, at the handover ceremony, Gai and Cuc also received many practical gifts by the City Red Cross Association, local leaders, and generous individuals.
