Thu Dau Mot city leaders pay congratulations visits to pagodas on mid-lunar-January

On February 1, leaders of Thu Dau Mot city Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee visited and congratulated pagodas, temples and representatives of the Chinese community in the city on the occasion of Lunar January Full Moon Festival this year.

The delegation visited Hoi Khanh Pagoda, Mazu Goddess Temple, Phat Hoc Pagoda, Ba Bung Cau Temple and Tay Tang Pagoda. At the destinations, the city leaders gave flower baskets, gifts and wished the Board of Directors of temples, shrines, the Chinese community and all monks, nuns, Buddhists and the Chinese community to welcome a festive season of health, well-being, and happiness.

The city leaders also asked the Board of Directors of temples and shrines to continue to coordinate with local authorities to organize safe, civilized and meaningful festival activities, and at the same time, to jointly promote and spread the images of cultural beauty and volunteering of Binh Duong people to tourists from all over the world. The representatives of the pagodas thanked the city leaders for their deep concern for creating conditions for Buddhist institutions and dignitaries to participate in social activities. In the coming time, dignitaries, monks and nuns, Buddhists and the Chinese community will continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity to well implement the guidelines of the CPV, policies and laws of the State, contributing to to the overall development of the city.
