Thu Dau Mot City speeds up compensation and site clearance progress

Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee informed that in the first 9 months of 2023, the city focused on compensation and site clearance work for construction projects. Accordingly, in 2023, there are 21 works and projects implemented in the city, with a total area of land recovered and compensated of 78 hectares. Accumulated to September, 64 hectares were cleared, reaching 82.1%, and nearly VND3,900 billion was paid and compensated, reaching 86.2%.

In addition, the city issued 284 decisions to recover land for 8 projects, approved 22 compensation, support and resettlement plans for 11 projects in the city with an amount of nearly VND870.5 billion. The city paid compensation to 346 organizations and individuals with a total amount of nearly VND650 billion. In addition, the city also carried out a campaign to persuade people to agree to clear and hand over sites to serve the construction of urban infrastructure.
