Thu Dau Mot city strives to meet criteria of environment sanitation

According to the report on environmental protection in the area, Thu Dau Mot City in recent years has performed well in management and achieved the set targets and plans with good control of the risk of environmental incidents and environmental pollution problems while environmental protection is strengthened in industrial parks, clusters, and craft villages.

In 2023, the city strives to achieve the set targets which are the rate of urban domestic wastewater being treated at 75%, the rate of connecting domestic wastewater to the collection system at 90%, and the rate of collected domestic solid waste at 99.8%. In addition, the city organized a review and consolidation of the collection, transportation and treatment system of domestic solid waste in the area to deploy the "trash-free city" model for 2023-2025.
