Thu Dau Mot city to updating defense and security knowledge for cat-4 officers

In 3 days of May 25 to 27, the Council of Education for National Defense and Security of Thu Dau Mot city organizes a refresher course to update defense and security knowledge for officers of category 4 in 2023 including teachers of high schools and junior high schools in the area, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Head of the Executive Board of the neighborhoods, deputies of the 14 wards' People's Councils not been trained and updated in defense and security knowledge.

Accordingly, the trainees have been able to study and research on 9 topics of the Party's perspective, the policies and laws of the State of Vietnam on national defense and security, socio-economic development in association with strengthening and consolidating national defense, security and foreign affairs in the new situations, preventing and combating law violations in cyberspace, preventing and combating the peaceful coups, riots and subversion of hostile forces towards Vietnam, building management of militia and self-defense forces and mobilization reserve force in the new situations.

The course aims to equip trainees with a firm grasp of the CPV’s guidelines and views, the State's policies and laws on national defense and security, issues of peaceful coups, self-upturning, and self-transformation. On such basis, it helps trainees to advise and propose effectively the implementation of defense and security tasks of agencies and units, meeting the requirements of national construction and defense in the new situations.
