Thu Dau Mot Open Soccer Tournament 2023 kicked off

The 11-man open traditional soccer tournament of Thu Dau Mot city in 2023 was officially started with participation of 24 teams of localities, enterprises, and corporates.

It is known that with a large number of teams registered in the competition, the tournament will take place at two stadiums of Phu My and Phu Loi on weekends. Group stage matches will start on September 30 and end on October 15, immediately after which matches in the knock-out rounds will come to play.

It was a bit unfortunate that the opening ceremony could not be held as expected due to heavy rain. However, the first matches of the tournament took place quite excitingly between Phu Tho ward against Hiep Thanh ward and Phu My ward against NKH Group. The tournament will end on October 29 and excellent players will be selected for the Thu Dau Mot city soccer team ready to participate in the provincial tournament in the near future.
