Thu Dau Mot’s celebration of 90th anniversary of militia and civil defense forces

On March 24, People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot City organized a celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Vietnam Militia and Self-Defense Force (March 28, 1935 - March 28, 2025). Attending the ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of Provincial Military Command; Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee.

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the 90-year tradition of building, fighting, growing, and achieving glorious victories of the Vietnam People's Army and expressed gratitude to generations of officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army who fought, sacrificed, and contributed to the cause of national liberation, construction and protection of the Fatherland.

Over the past 90 years, the city's militia and self-defense forces have been absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, the people, and the revolutionary cause of the Party; fought steadfastly, intelligently, and courageously; worked, studied, and worked effectively and creatively, and achieved many great feats. The Militia and Self-Defense Forces have successfully completed all tasks of political stability, ensuring national security, social order and safety, and proactively fought and defeated all plots and sabotage actions of hostile forces. Nowadays, the city's militia and self-defense force is developed according to the motto "Strong, widespread" with reasonable quantity, improved quality, militia force reaches the ratio compared to the population...

On this occasion, People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot City recognized 14 collectives and 14 individuals for their outstanding achievements in building the militia and self-defense forces and awarded winners of Singing Contest for soldiers within the city's armed forces.
